As always, its a nice experience to play pool at Diamond’s billiards and we stayed until 2am playing pool. The only issue is the head bartender screaming at me when I was leaving, I was finishing my Corona and somehow had him yelling at me to get out as I was being polite and respectful with him, he’s screaming at me to get out. I understand when it’s closing time that you have to communicate with your guests to leave somehow, but as someone who works in the service industry I would never be so rude and scream at someone who showed the respect that I did to this man, or even regardless of my guest being kind and respectful with me. Definitely one of the most intense bartenders I’ve ever seen in my life; this coming from someone who has witnessed many bartenders through many years in the service industry. He was unprofessional and childish in his fashion of closing my evening at diamonds but I’ll give it 2 stars for Eva being a decent server and having good service beside my experience with him.

Manager was rude and disrespectful. We put money in the jukebox on a Saturday night at about 1:15am. We had about four or five songs in the queue and he turned the music off basically right after. Went around and turned the lights off at every table and left us drinking in the dark.. this was about 1:30. Mind you they close at 2. I had the server ask him if we could at least hear the songs we paid for. He straight up told the server to tell us “he didn’t care” I said okay well could he at least comp a drink to make up for the money we lost when he turned the music off. Nope wouldn’t do it. I don’t expect much from a pool bar to begin with but the blatant disrespect and disregard of paying customers is crazy. I understand the closing process. I worked in the industry for a while and as much as I wanted to close and go home i still had some decency for customers. (Especially on a Saturday night) I’ve seem some terrible managers and this guy is definitely one of them. The server was so nice and kept apologizing on his behalf and seemed embarrassed to have to mediate the conversation. Apparently from reading other reviews this guy doesn’t have a good reputation.. Great tables, food seems decent, the only issue is the drinks are very expensive and they wouldn't give me an itemized receipt. 3 rum and cokes and a brownie was 40 dollars, tables aren't bad early at 5 and hour. Definitely a place to visit if you fancy yourself a pool player in this area, tables are fast and absolutely leveled.

This was decent place a couple years ago, but it’s slowly gone downhill in every way. Drinks are overpriced, but I can overlook that if the service, food and atmosphere are good. Unfortunately it’s just not what it used to be. The whole building smells like a sewer. The food has declined and they can’t seem to keep decent servers (the turnover is really high).

I read some of the reviews here and just wanted to put in my thoughts. I play every Sunday and Wednesday on one of the smaller pocket tables. The tables are nice and the staff has always been nice to me. The food can be hit or miss, but at least they offer a wide variety. The prices are quite reasonable for billiards. I like that they have multiple televisions to watchwhen my opponents run the table. Overall I find this to be a reputable, friendly, and pleasant place to play billiards.
